Since the launch of reform and opening-up three decades ago, China has made remarkable progress in economic development and has kept its economy growing rapidly. In the midst of today’s globalization,China’s economic development has had a definitive impact on the global economy. With the enhancement of its economic status, China will continue to exert growing influence on the global economy. So, in what ways does China’s development affect the global economy? This article attempts to answer this question through an analysis based on the theoretical and empirical research literature of economists in the past decade. The authors hope that such an analysis will help people further understand the effects of China’s economic development on the global economy.
