China Economist is looking for an English editor with postdoctoral qualification through China International Postdoctoral Exchange Program, who will also be involved in the IIE’s relevant research activities.
Founded in 2006, China Economist is an English language journal that publishes original academic papers and research reports on the Chinese economy. Led by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and sponsored by the Institute of Industrial Economics (IIE) of CASS, China Economist informs readers about the latest academic progress in Chinese economics and business management. China Economist is currently listed in: EconLit; EBSCO Academic Source Premier; ProQuest Academic Research Library.
Basic requirements for candidates:
1. Preferably aged below 35;
2. Received a PhD degree from a world top-100 university (The Times, 2016-2017 edition) outside the P. R. China over the past three years;
3. Did not previously receive any sponsorship of China International Postdoctoral Exchange Program;
4. Native English speaker;
5. Guarantee to work for the Editorial Board of China Economist for a minimum of 20 months.
Compensation and benefit:
Compensation is 200,000 yuan or above per year, including living expenses, housing allowance, medical insurance and one-time international round-trip travel expenses for arrival in China.
